ArriveCAN or ArriveSCAM? Almost everyone remembers the ArriveCAN app which was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. Well, it is in the top news this week. Auditor General of Canada, Karen Hogan, released a report suggesting that the App that was supposed to cost $80,000 ended up costing more than $59M. Yes, M with Millions 😱 🤷🏽♂️.
IT Staffing company called GC Strategist, which won this government contract is in question and RCMP is now investigating this whole ‘Scandal‘. The company has only 2 employees who won other government contracts with about $250M (again, M with Millions) in the past 8 years.

Those looking to make an account on the new system can go to shop.albertaparks.ca to do so.
Upcoming camping reservations will open for booking on the following dates:Backcountry Camping reservations open Feb. 20 at 9 a.m.
Comfort Camping reservations open Feb. 22 at 9 a.m.
